The ACHI Foundation is dedicated to empowering young creatives by providing them with the necessary tools and resources to explore their passions. You can be a part of this mission by donating your used camera equipment to The ACHI Foundation's Young Creators Camp. Your contribution will directly benefit our participants and help foster their creativity.

 

To donate, simply make an appointment to drop off your equipment at our camp location Monday through Saturday. If you are unable to do so, you can ship your camera to the following address:

We welcome all types of functioning equipment, from film or photography cameras and lenses to flashes and studio lighting. We also appreciate camera bags and tripods.

 

We are actively seeking analog camera gear as it is highly sought after by our attendees and becoming increasingly rare. Additionally, we are looking for digital DSLR/Mirrorless cameras from 2019 or newer to keep up with the latest technology.

 

Rest assured that any donated equipment that meets our quality standards and aligns with our attendees' needs will be put to good use. It will either be incorporated into our equipment room or made available to our community through our equipment rental program. Any proceeds from rental fees will be reinvested into acquiring new gear for our attendees.

 

As a token of our appreciation, individuals who donate equipment will receive a complimentary t-shirt from The ACHI Foundation's Young Creators Camp. We are also happy to provide an acknowledgment letter upon request for tax purposes.

 

Please note that while we are grateful for all donations, we do reserve the right to decline items that do not meet our needs or quality standards. As for assessing the value of donated materials, we are not able to do so for tax purposes. Donors will need to provide their own estimated value and must have an external appraiser for equipment exceeding $5,000. A completed IRS 8283 form will also be required.
